The Brief
To design an icon as part of a new rebrand for the Concord Kidney Centre. The icon will be used on their business stationary and newsletters.

The Solution
I started by assessing what the client was looking for in the new icon. The client wanted a modern graphic that represented the clinical excellence and prestige standing of their unit. I adopted the Concord Hospital colour palette and created two options balancing smooth lines with sharp edges, with a focus on precision for a stylish aesthetic.

The result
The approved icon is shown here. I especially enjoyed tweaking the widths of the red lines. The client was also very thankful and ‘thrilled with the new icon’.
